This role is for a designer who wants genuine creative influence at a brand that defines its category. At Milan Laser, performance creative drives growth rather than supporting it from the sidelines. You'll collaborate with creative leads and the performance marketing team on work that supports client acquisition and campaign goals.

As a freelance Performance Marketing Designer, you'll create branded static assets for paid social, display, and email channels, producing the variations and formats each campaign needs to test and perform. Campaign data, channel feedback, and audience insights will guide what you make, test, and refine.

Milan Laser leads the laser hair removal industry in scale, credibility, and momentum. This role pairs premium brand work with performance marketing and gives you a hand in shaping how a fast-growing category leader appears in every feed.

Schedule: 20-40 hours per week

Location: Omaha, NE | Remote

What You'll Do

• Design branded static assets for paid social, display, and email channels
• Produce multiple creative variations and formats per campaign to support testing and platform requirements
• Prepare final files that meet each channel's specifications and our brand standards
• Apply campaign data, channel feedback, and audience insights to refine creative concepts
• Build variations that support A/B testing, and analyze results with team members to decide which concepts to scale, iterate, or retire
• Build and maintain a creative roadmap that prioritizes what to produce, test, and expand
• Develop scalable asset systems, templates, and production processes that increase output without diluting quality
• Evaluate and apply AI tools to extend creative capacity while keeping work on-brand
• Apply Milan's visual identity consistently as you adapt it to new formats and platforms, and review your work for brand alignment, quality, and detail before delivery
• Partner with cross-functional team members from concept through launch, incorporating feedback and communicating project status, timelines, and dependencies

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (one year of experience equals one year of education)
• Five years of experience in performance marketing design, paid social creative, or growth-focused digital design
• A portfolio demonstrating both creative craft and measurable business impact
• Expert proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator
• Working knowledge of paid social platform conventions, creative formats, and A/B testing
• Ability to apply campaign data and audience insights to creative decisions
• Preferred: experience using AI tools in a creative production workflow
• Preferred: experience with motion graphics, video editing, or animation
