Position Summary:

The Talent Acquisition (TA) Team Leader is a supervisory role focused on driving field staffing effectiveness, sourcing strategies, and hiring excellence. This position provides real-time coaching, mentoring, and performance guidance to Talent Acquisition Partners (Recruiters), ensuring execution of best-in-class recruiting practices.  The TA Team Leader oversees a geographic territory (or grouping of territories) that may evolve with business needs, requiring agility and adaptability. They are responsible for meeting territory-specific KPIs that directly support the department’s overall hiring goals, as set by executive leadership. 

In partnership with HR & Field leadership, the TA Team Leader identifies gaps in recruiting performance, develops and implements process improvements, and drives innovation in talent acquisition strategies. As a change champion, they ensure the successful rollout of new hiring programs and enhancements.  This position serves as a succession pathway to TA Field Management, equipping future leaders with supervisory experience, business and cultural awareness of the organization, and the ability to drive high-performing recruitment operations that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruitment within assigned territories while coaching and mentoring team members to build strong candidate pipelines.
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and mentorship to Talent Acquisition Partners (TAPs).
  • Lead by example, setting the standard for excellence in recruitment practices.
  • Own and optimize KPIs across territories, proactively addressing bottlenecks to accelerate hiring success and driving accountability across the team.
  • Prepare structured business cases for executive review, supporting data-driven hiring decisions.
  • Align hiring processes with organizational goals, ensuring an exceptional experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Serve as a sourcing strategist, developing innovative solutions for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to eliminate inefficiencies and maximize productivity.
  • Enforce compliance with ATS data integrity standards, ensuring accurate reporting and analytics.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers to ensure alignment on workforce planning and talent needs.
  • Create executive-ready reports for TA leadership, VP territory leaders, and business stakeholders.
  • Provide real-time hiring updates and proactively escalate challenges to leadership.
  • Partner with TA leadership to analyze workforce trends and drive strategic hiring solutions.
  • Streamline recruitment workflows, collaborating with TA Operations to enhance efficiency and hiring outcomes.
  • Improve training methodologies for recruiters to standardize best practices.
  • Use data insights to refine recruitment strategies and optimize hiring success.
  • Report hiring trends and challenges to TA leadership with actionable recommendations.
  • Align recruitment performance with business objectives, leveraging data-driven decision-making.
  • Act as the primary liaison between TA, business leaders, and HR partners.
  • Conduct structured 1:1 check-ins and team meetings to align expectations and drive results.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Preferred majors: Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or related fields).
  • Minimum 3 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a demonstrated ability to drive results in high-volume or complex hiring environments.
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in a supervisory or coaching role. Must have experience managing recruiter performance, optimizing processes, and holding teams accountable for results.
  • Proven ability to own and drive KPIs, including time-to-fill, hiring conversion rates, and staffing goals.
  • Experience preparing and presenting hiring data, KPIs, and business cases to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in maintaining exceptional data excellence within applicant tracking systems (ATS) 
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align hiring strategies with operational goals and workforce planning needs.
