Athens Hair Transplants is Omaha’s only clinic focused on holistic solutions for hair restoration with proven, medical-based protocols. With our continued growth and success, we are excited to hire a full-time hair transplant technician in our Omaha clinic. Experience with FUE hair transplant procedures is preferred, but not required. We will provide comprehensive hands-on training upon hire. Technicians will be responsible for assisting the medical provider during the hair transplant procedure, as well as with pre-op and post-op steps. This role involves significant time with the patient. Successful technicians will excel at both the technical skills and patient interaction.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pre-operative and post-operative tasks

• Set-up of the procedure room and sterilization of instruments

• Patient engagement and prep-work

• Act as a guide for the patient throughout the day

• Document patient care records in the EMR

• Work with fine instruments

• Donor hair harvesting and hair follicle placement

• Trimming and sorting hair follicles under a microscope

• Other day to day clinic tasks including patient follow up appointments, communications, and cleaning

Qualifications And Education Requirements

• 1+ years supporting surgery or procedures preferred (e.g., medical assistant, dental assistant, or other similar role)

• Ability to work under a microscope

• Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination required

• Preferred experience with the sterilization of instruments

• Ability to maintain highly confidential information

• Be able to stand for up to 8 hours a day

• Be able to lift up to 30 pounds
