Summary:

As the Director of Real Estate and Leasing, you will partner with the leadership team to develop a strategic plan to support Milan’s fast paced growth. You will have ultimate responsibility for the complete oversight for the Real Estate and Leasing divisions. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated, and highly organized person to join a rapidly growing, innovative company. You will work with business leaders to execute on short- and long-term strategies, work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure the business needs are being achieved and effectively manage the real estate and leasing teams.

Status: Full-time
Location: Omaha, Nebraska - onsite, not remote


Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Hire, train, develop and coach growing Real Estate and Leasing teams
  • Manage the whole real estate and leasing process and empower both teams to higher performance and acceleration of new store growth
  • Set the weekly real estate meeting agenda and create the line-up of deals
  • Maintain accountability and performance of team's results through frequent reporting of KPIs and metrics
  • Responsible for the management and oversight of all leasing operations
  • Analyze data, recognize trends, and formulate ideas to expand capacity and achieve significant growth
  • Coordinate with leadership team to develop and implement market plans to fuel the organization's rapid growth
  • Effectively communicate status of projects to key business partners – both internal and external.

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Architecture, Planning or related field.
  • Familiar with site selection software- Buxton preferred
  • Experienced in all aspects of the commercial leasing process
  • Proven management and leadership experience within a corporate real estate environment, preferably in retail industry
  • 8+ years experience in a strategic, senior leadership role
  • Experience in a high growth brand while scaling brick and mortar
  • Demonstrated experience leading fast paced growth and development
  • Strong communication skills within all levels of an organization including communication with C-Suite, vendors, and team
  • Experience developing and implementing process improvements to streamline projects.

  • Requires the ability to remain seated for extended periods.
  • Involves frequent operation of a computer and office equipment, necessitating the use of hands and fingers.
