Position Summary:
We are looking for a board-certified family physician who is ready for a new adventure. Due to continued growth, Milan is building a team of Medical Directors located in South Carolina. Aesthetics experience is not necessary, but the ideal candidate is able to work independently, is team-oriented, and has exceptional clinical, patient care, and customer services skills.
As a Medical Director at Milan, you will oversee procedures at clinics within your assigned geographical region.
Status: Part-Time
Location: Can be located anywhere in the state of South Carolina
Responsibilities:
Serve as a resource for clinic providers regarding clinical questions
Ensure that all providers within the region have received adequate and appropriate training in order to perform treatments independently with the highest level of competency.
Monitor and analyze treatment data metrics
Provide a friendly and comfortable environment by delivering world class customer service
Record clear and accurate medical documentation in the patient’s medical record
Other duties as assigned
Attend various recurring meetings
To be considered for this opportunity, you must meet all of the following requirements:
Graduate of an accredited MD or DO medical school in the United States or ECFMG certified
Board certification or eligibility in family medicine
Active and unrestricted medical license in South Carolina. This license must be current (not revoked, suspended, or lapsed in registration), valid, and unencumbered (not subject to restriction pertaining to the scope, location, or type of practice ordinarily granted to other applicants for similar licenses in granting jurisdiction).
Reside in South Carolina or be willing to relocate to the assigned territory
Possess phenomenal customer service skills and a passion for providing excellent patient care
Strong teamwork mentality
Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
Outstanding organizational skills
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain highly confidential information
Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently
EMR experience (preferred)
Able to be available during Milan clinic hours
